Her Background
Janet holds a master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Wisconsin Madison and a bachelor's degree in human development from Cornell University. Since receiving her graduate degree, she has obtained advanced certification in couple and family therapy from The Family Institute at Northwestern University, as well as divorce mediation and clinical practice with lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals and their families.
Janet is an Approved Supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and trains graduate students at The Family Institute during their clinical internship. She also supervises master's level clinicians in her private practice.
